Modern video production for modern companies.
Formally Elderberry Films
Story: We partnered with MasterCard to assist community growth and small business support. We created this extended version for MasterCard’s social media use. Believe it or not this was not an extensive budget, produced with a small crew, Sony FS7 camera, Canon CP prime lenses, storyboard and sound design. A small example of what we can do with any given budget.
Story: Budweiser created a line of bottled cocktail drinks named Mixxtail. The client's goal was to produce 4 short promotional clips for social media purposes. We filmed with a rather large production crew with several actors and actresses. Fortunately we had the opportunity to film this one on a Red Camera.
Who: Woodside Farm Creamery
Story: Jim and Janet Mitchell have one of the most popular ice cream shops in all of Delaware. Woodside Farm Creamery produces their own ice cream right on the farm from high quality Jersey Cow’s milk. Both gave us a tour of the facilities, showing us each step of how the ice cream is made. In my previous career as executive chef for Longwood Gardens, I used to purchase thirty 3 gallon tubs per week! My relationship goes back many years with the Mitchells. I always wanted to tell their story.
Who: Restaurant Associates
Story: As a long time executive chef for Restaurant Associates, I already had a passion for the food industry. We’ve been working on many projects together for years. This particular project was a 3 part series in 3 different cities to explain their vendor relationships and how important where their food comes from. This part was filmed in Washington, DC while we interviewed Keany Produce, Lyon Bakery and Profish. We toured and filmed each facility and sat down with the owners and CEO’s and talked about their relationship to Restaurant Associates.
Who: Solve ME-CFS Initiative
Story: The Solve ME/CFS Initiative (SMCI) has been the leading organization focused on myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), commonly referred to as chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Having a family member who suffers from this disease, made me fully vested in assisting the organization with their cause. They asked us to assist in documenting Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. We acquired many heartfelt stories from individuals and family member that suffer from ME/CFS. Most flew in from around the country to speak with Senators and Representatives to gain funding for this severely underfunded disease.
