The Method

Strategy first, then story.

We don’t start with “what kind of video do you want?” We start with “what challenge are we solving?” There’s a system behind every film we make — and it starts long before a camera comes out.

The Blueprint Workshop

Every film starts on paper.

Every engagement begins with a two-hour collaborative session where we dig into what you’re actually trying to achieve — your audience, your goals, the stakes. You leave with a strategic blueprint: who’s on camera, what they’ll be asked, why, and how it ends. Whether you’re a hospitality company chasing a major account, a school connecting with families, or a non-profit building donor trust, the process is the same.

What this means for you

You never sign off on a vibe. You approve a written plan — who’s on camera, what they’ll say, why, and how it ends. And when new people join the project, they’re reading the plan, not catching up on instinct.

The Four Pillars of Story

Four pillars hold up every film.

Purpose, people, plot, place. If a shot, a question, or a cut doesn’t serve one of them, it doesn’t make it in.

01

Purpose

Why does this story need to exist?

Five words that set how the film should feel — the tonal yardstick for every call.

02

People

Whose story are we telling?

Real characters chosen for what they want and what only they can say — never spokespeople.

03

Plot

What’s the journey?

Six beats, same order, every time — the backbone that turns footage into a story.

04

Place

Where does this story live?

The objects, situation, and environment that make a film feel real and lived-in.

The Six Beats

Six beats carry every film.

Whatever the subject, the audience moves through these six, in this order. It’s the backbone the blueprint locks in.

01

Hook

Drop the viewer inside

The image and line that land the central question in the first thirty seconds.

02

Initiation

Set the world

Where it all comes from, and what’s at stake in keeping it running.

03

Conflict

The tension

What makes the work hard, shown in real moments — not narrated.

04

Journey

Follow the thing itself

The prep, the hand-offs, the moving parts — the work as it actually happens.

05

Resolution

The payoff, shown not stated

The result lands. The opening question is answered without anyone repeating it.

06

Jab

The last punch

The human line underneath it all — the one people quote afterward.
